Supervisory Development
The LC Region invests in many methods to develop current LC Region supervisors. For example, the Human Resource Management (HRM) and Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) for Supervisors is a program for new and seasoned supervisors. This program is designed to provide the tools and resources needed to meet the challenges a supervisor will face in their position, as well as develop open dialogue with the HR and EEO staff. The LC Region also partners with DOI University to provide supervisors across the Department of Interior the opportunity to engage, network, and problem solve challenges supervisors in the Department will encounter. This course is especially designed to provide new supervisors with 40 hours of training addressing leadership competencies and other key elements of supervision necessary to successfully perform the role of supervisor. Supervisors looking to sharpen their supervisory skills are also encouraged to attend. If you are interested in Supervisory Development training, please don't hesitate to contact us.
