Power O&M Incident Evaluation and Reporting Program
The Bureau of Reclamation constantly improves power operation and maintenance (O&M) at its powerplants and major pumping plants by evaluating unusual incidents through its Power Incident Evaluation and Reporting Program. Finding the root cause of abnormal occurrences leads to improved design, training, management, operation, and maintenance practices. As a result, interruptions to the delivery of products and services can be minimized. Recommendations made for correcting deficiencies or improving the local operations and maintenance program are tracked to completion.
