Reclamation conducted the scoping process for the Conconully Safety of Dams Modification project environmental assessment from Aug. 9, 2024, to Sept. 8, 2024.

On Aug. 21, Reclamation hosted two public meetings at the 12 Tribes Omak Casino Hotel in Omak, Wash. The in-person meetings included an open house, presentation, and opportunities to provide public comment. Reclamation subject matter experts were available to answer questions.

A 24-hour virtual public meeting room website also was available. Visitors were able to view information about the project, read frequently asked questions, and submit comments. Reclamation accepted public comments during the in-person meetings, via email, through the virtual public meeting room website, and by postal mail. The public comment period closed Sept. 8.
