Current Research Study Plans
Multidisciplinary research study plans, submitted by federal, state, and private sector scientists and engineers, are designed to achieve legal and regulatory mandates defined in the 1992 Central Valley Project Improvement Act and National Marine Fisheries Science (NMFS) Biological Opinion, with the definitive goal of improving fish protection and salvage at the Tracy Fish Collection Facility. To promote interagency collaboration and coordination, and robust research efforts, draft proposals are vetted through a two-phase review process: initial internal review by the Bureau of Reclamation, then a wide-reaching external review through distribution to all Tracy Technical Advisory Team members.
