TSC Summer Intern Program

Each summer Reclamation's Technical Service Center (TSC) seeks motivated, hard-working, resourceful individuals for its Summer Intern Program. Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in engineering or related science fields.  Limited spots may be available for other disciplines.

The program typically includes:

  • a 12-week summer internship
  • weekly professional development series
  • field trips to local Reclamation facilities
  • capstone poster or webinar symposium
  • networking activities
Interns are matched to groups and projects based on current workload and
the intern’s field of study.  TSC has opportunities in:
  • Biology/Ecology
  • Civil Engineering
  • Economics
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Geology/Geophysics
  • Geotechnical Engineering
  • Hydrology
  • Materials Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Water Asset Management
While most positions are within the TSC, other groups and directorates
may also host interns:

Informational Sessions

TSC Summer Intern Program will be held:

Thursday, October 24, 2024
(10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. MST)

Wednesday, November 20, 2024
(3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. MST)

Each session will be held using
Microsoft Teams and will include a short informational presentation on the internship and application process along with a
Q&A session at the end.

Register by 8:00 a.m. (MST)
the day of the session to receive an invitation with the session link.
