Christina “Christi” Davis-Kernan was named Deputy Regional Director of the Lower Colorado Basin Region in January 2025. She has more than 30 years of federal government service, with nearly 25 years dedicated to the Bureau of Reclamation.

Davis-Kernan began her Reclamation career in 2001 within the Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, where she specialized in water rights, repayment contracts, water contracts, groundwater programs, local policy, and litigation.

In September 2022, Christi advanced to the position of Deputy Area Manager at the Missouri Basin and Arkansas-Rio Grande-Texas Gulf Regions’ Wyoming Area Office, where she oversaw water delivery and power operations across 680,000 acres, managing 25 dams and 11 power plants.

As Lower Colorado Basin Region Deputy Regional Director, Davis-Kernan leads several key offices, including the Southern California Area Office, the Lower Colorado Dams Office (Hoover, Davis, and Parker dams), and the offices of Power, Engineering, Financial Management, Resource Management, Acquisitions and Assistance Management, Communications, as well as Safety and Security.

Originally from Washington State, Davis-Kernan earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix, concentrating in Organizational Management and Change.
