Reclamation Scientific Integrity Policy: The purpose of this document is to establish the Bureau of Reclamation policy on the integrity of science and scholarship it uses for decision making. Scientific and scholarly information must be robust, of the highest quality, and the result of best possible scientific and scholarly processes when considered for decision making within Reclamation. Most importantly, users must be able to trust the information. The benefit of this Policy is the establishment of uniform requirements for Reclamation managers and employees when they conduct and manage scientific activities. Download →
Reclamation Manual Directives and Standards (D&S) for Technology Transfer Agreements: Federal technology transfer legislation authorizes Reclamation to participate in collaborative research partnerships with non-Federal entities. When Reclamation’s capabilities and pursuit of new and improved solutions align with non-Federal entities’ interests, Reclamation is authorized to combine its expertise, facilities, and other resources with non-Federal entities to develop new efficient, effective, and user ready solutions. Reclamation is authorized to protect, manage, and/or license intellectual property developed on its own or in partnership with non-Federal entities, as appropriate. Download →
Reclamation Peer Review Policy: The benefits of this Policy are establishment of peer review requirements; enhanced quality of scientific information disseminated by Reclamation; and increased credibility of decisions to which scientific information contributes; clarified application of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Final Information Quality Bulletin for Peer Review (70 FR 2664-2677) (OMB Bulletin), and implementation of the Information Quality Act (Pub. Research and Development Office Peer Review Policy Guidance: This memorandum provides guidance for R&D Office employees and R&D programs' participants as they implement Reclamation's Peer Review Policy.
