Cambridge Diversion Dam is located on the Republican River about 2 miles east of Cambridge, Nebraska. It is a concrete and earthfill dam having a total length of 900 feet. The Cambridge Canal begins at the dam and extends along the Republican River 49.2 miles to the Harlan County Reservoir to serve 17,053 acres of the Cambridge Unit.
