Wildcat Creek Bridge Replacement
Reclamation is proposing to replace Wildcat Creek Bridge in Yakima County, Washington. Scour of the bridge abutments is undermining the structural integrity of the bridge which will lead to the bridge becoming unsafe, posing risks to Reclamation operations. The proposed project would remove the deteriorating structure and construct a new bridge to ensure long-term safety and access for Reclamation operations and maintenance activities at Tieton Dam.
Reclamation is conducting a National Environmental Policy Act compliance process throughout 2025 to evaluate potential environmental impacts associated with the project. As part of this process, we will provide opportunities for public input. Once available, the Draft Environmental Assessment will be posted on this site for public review and comment. The EA will analyze potential environmental impacts and consider public input before a final decision is made.
