Royal Slope Power Transmission Line Project

Power transmission lines.

Royal Slope Solar LLC, a subsidiary of Clearway Energy Group, has requested a land use authorization license from Reclamation to construct, operate, and maintain electrical power lines and associated access roads on Reclamation-administered land. The 230-kilovolt electrical power line would transmit electricity from a solar power generation facility on private land, across Reclamation-administered land, to the Vantage substation, located east of Wanapum Dam in Grant County, Washington.

Reclamation invites the public to review and comment on the draft EA. Additionally, this serves to provide notice and request public input per 36 CFR 800.2(d) on potential effects on historic properties in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, as allowed by 36 CFR 800.2(d)(3).
