Negotiation Session Rescheduled for Proposed Warren Act Contracts with the El Dorado Irrigation District

Negotiations between the Bureau of Reclamation and El Dorado Irrigation District (EID) for two Warren Act contracts to convey a total of up to 21,560 acre-feet of non-Central Valley Project (Project) water when excess capacity exists in Reclamations Folsom Lake have been rescheduled from Wednesday, November 9, to Thursday, November 17, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. The location for the meeting will be Reclamations Central California Area Office, 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, California.

The Warren Act of February 21, 1911, authorized the United States to execute contracts for the conveyance and storage of non-Project water in Federal facilities when excess capacity exists.
