Reclamation is recruiting volunteers to work with schoolchildren at the American River Water Education Center at Folsom Dam. Upon successfully completing about 20 hours of training, volunteers will begin teaching educational programs on water and energy conservation. Once Folsom Dam tours restart, volunteers may also have the opportunity to help Reclamation guides conduct the tours.

Volunteers will need to attend a series of six training workshops, the first scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-12 noon on Friday, June 13, 2003, at the American River Water Education Center. The training workshops will continue every Friday morning through July 25, with the exception of Friday, July 4, 2003. The center is located on the grounds of Reclamation’s Folsom Dam Office, 7794 Folsom Dam Road, in Folsom, California.
