For Release: September 26, 2005

The Bureau of Reclamation announces the winter schedule for recreational facilities at New Melones Lake. Some closures are necessary for resource recovery and required maintenance tasks. Because of maintenance projects, road repairs, and re-paving, the scheduled closures are tentative and subject to change. Visitors should expect rotating closures necessary for the completion of improvements and repairs.
