Reclamation announces 60-day public comment period for Central Valley Project Santa Clara Valley Water District contract amendment

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation proposes to execute a second amendment to Santa Clara Valley Water District’s Contract No. 7-07-20-W0023, dated June 7, 1977, to add contract language to include mutually agreed upon additional points of delivery.

This second contract amendment would allow Santa Clara Valley Water District additional flexibility in the delivery of their water supply during periods of operational necessity.

Written comments on the draft contract amendment must be received by close of business on August 28, 2020 and sent to Cathy James, Bureau of Reclamation 16650 Kelso Road, Byron, CA 94514-1909 or emailed to mjames@usbr.gov.
