Reclamation shifts two public meetings for Truckee Canal Extraordinary Maintenance Project to web-based virtual meeting room from March 25 to April 20

CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Bureau of Reclamation shifted two public meetings scheduled for March 24 and 25 in Fernley and Fallon, respectively, to a web-based virtual meeting room from March 25 to April 20. The Truckee Canal Extraordinary Maintenance draft Environmental Impact Statement public meetings scheduled for March 24 and 25 will shift to a web-based virtual environment on March 25 through April 20. The virtual “meeting” will be accessible at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/lbao/programs/truckee-canal-eis/index.html.
Website visitors will be able to access the draft EIS, view the public meeting materials, submit questions and view responses.
The draft EIS is available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=25717. Submit written comments to Laurie Nicholas, Bureau of Reclamation, Lahontan Basin Area Office, 705 N. Plaza Street, Room 320, Carson City, Nevada 89701; fax to 775-884-8376; or email to TruckeeEIS@empsi.com. All emailed or faxed comments must be received by 11:59 p.m. PDT and all mailed or personally delivered comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. PDT on April 20, 2020.
