Public Comments Sought for the Draft Glendo Reservoir Resource Management Plan

The Bureau of Reclamation and the Wyoming Division of State Parks and Historic Sites (WSPHS) are seeking public comment on the draft Glendo Reservoir Resource Management Plan/Glendo State Park Master Plan (RMP) and integrated Environmental Assessment (EA).
Reclamation and WSPHS coordinated the preparation of the integrated document to develop and implement plans for land use, resource management decisions, and the development and protection of natural, cultural, and recreational resources at Glendo Reservoir, and evaluate the associated environmental effects. Reclamation and WSPHS proposes to implement moderate recreational developments under existing management conditions at Glendo Reservoir. Based on the draft EA, Reclamation has prepared a draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).
Copies of the draft RMP and FONSI are available for review during normal business hours at Reclamation's Office at 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, WY; WSPHS at 2301 Central Ave., Barrett's Building, 4th Floor, Cheyenne, WY; Platte County Library, Wheatland, WY; Natrona County Public Library, Casper, WY; Converse County Library, Douglas, WY; Laramie County Library, Cheyenne, WY; Denver Central Library, Denver, CO; and Fort Collins Public Library, Fort Collins, CO. The draft RMP may also be viewed by accessing the Wyoming State Parks and Historic Sites web site at wyoparks.state.wy.us. The review and comment period will remain open from April 6 - May 6, 2004, to assure all comments have been expressed.
