Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center summer schedule

HUNGRY HORSE, Mont. – The Bureau of Reclamation announces the opening of the Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center for the 2019 summer season.

The visitor center will open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning May 12 through Sept. 28. Exhibits about the history of Hungry Horse Dam and its importance to the Federal Columbia River Power System are featured.

Hungry Horse Dam is located off Highway 2 in Hungry Horse, Montana. Directional signs located past the Hungry Horse/Glacier View Forest Service building indicate the road leading to the visitor center. From Highway 2, travel approximately 4.5 miles to the visitor center located at the north end of the dam's crest.
