Reclamation releases final environmental document for Natomas Central Mutual Water Company water management project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released a Finding of No Significant Impact for a Natomas Central Mutual Water Company supervisory control and data acquisition (or SCADA) project intended to improve water management and reduce water demand within the Natomas Basin.

The proposed project includes installing water level sensors, pump runtime meters, monitoring equipment, remote terminal units and radio masts at various sites.

The FONSI and its associated environmental assessment were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and may be viewed at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=34881.
