Reclamation announces seasonal changes to Lake Berryessa park hours and recreation areas

Napa, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation announced today a seasonal shift in the operating hours and recreation areas at Lake Berryessa beginning October 1. These changes will affect Oak Shores Day Use Area and the Dufer Point Visitor Center.

Starting October 1 until March 31, 2019, Oak Shores Day Use Area will move its closing time to 5 p.m. to reflect the change in daylight hours. The north side of Oak Shores Day Use Area will also close during this winter season. The south side of Oak Shores will continue to offer restroom facilities, picnic tables, barbeque grills, water access, and a kayak/canoe hand launch.

The Dufer Point Visitor Center will open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. beginning October 1 through March 31, 2019.
