Reclamation releases draft environmental document for Natomas Central Mutual Water Company water management project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released a draft Environmental Assessment for a Natomas Central Mutual Water Company supervisory control and data acquisition (or SCADA) project intended to improve water management and reduce water demand within the Natomas Basin.

The proposed project includes installing water level sensors, pump runtime meters, monitoring equipment, remote terminal units and radio masts at various sites.

The draft EA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and may be viewed at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=34881. The document may also be viewed at Reclamation’s below address.
