Reclamation has released final environmental documents for South Tahoe Public Utility District water delivery upgrade

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released final environmental documents on South Tahoe Public Utilities District's Pressure Reducing Valve Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Upgrades Project.
Project construction involves installing monitoring equipment at 19 pressure reducing valve stations, such as digital flow meters, digital suction and discharge pressure gauges, off-grid power supply, and modification or replacement of existing vault structure and valves where needed.
Reclamation has proposed a $75,000 CALFED Water Use Efficiency Grant towards the project, and has prepared an environmental assessment and a finding of no significant impact in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=33841.
