Reclamation releases environmental documents for a water transfer from River Garden Farms to Zone 7 Water Agency

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has issued an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for River Garden Farms water transfer to Zone 7 Water Agency.

The transfer of 1,097 acre-feet of surface water from River Garden Farms to Zone 7 Water Agency would be made available by River Garden Farms through substitution of surface water with groundwater to irrigate crops; no land idling would occur as a result of approving the transfer.
