Reclamation releases final environmental documents for Stockton East Water District Groundwater Recharge Basin Project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has issued the Finding of No Significant Impact for a Drought Response Program grant to Stockton East Water District.

The Stockton East Water District will use federal funding to implement the Groundwater Recharge Basin, Southeast Recharge Basin Project, which will develop a 73-acre groundwater recharge basin. Reclamation provided $300,000 in grant funds toward the project. Stockton East Water District will contribute the remaining funds to the $855,400 project.

The Finding of No Significant Impact and supporting Environmental Assessment were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_projdetails.cfm?Project_ID=32101.
