FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has issued an environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact for the Tulare Irrigation District Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System Modernization Project.

Reclamation proposes to provide $73,150 to Tulare Irrigation District to partially fund upgrades to the district’s SCADA interface software, updating from an outdated interface platform to a modern system. The project will enhance real-time visualization of the distribution system, provide alarms in the event of emergencies, provide automated controls to facilitate constant flow, and allow for real-time data to inform better water management decisions.

The documents were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=32441. For additional information or to request a copy of the documents, please contact Kaitlin Flahive at 916-978-5044 (TTY 800-877-8339) or kflahive@usbr.gov.
