Reclamation releases draft environmental documents for East Bay Regional Park’s application of herbicides at Contra Loma

FRESNO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review the draft Environmental Assessment and draft Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed use of herbicides by East Bay Regional Park to control invasive plant species along the edges of Contra Loma Reservoir.

Reclamation proposes to approve the application of herbicide at Contra Loma Reservoir through the term of the Management Agreement for East Bay Regional Park at Contra Loma Recreation Area.

The Draft EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=32701.
