Reclamation released draft EA on San Luis and Grassland water districts’ refuge water exchange agreement

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation proposes to enter into an agreement with San Luis and Grassland water districts to provide additional Level 4 water to south of Delta refuges in exchange for Level 2 water. The proposed agreement is five years from the date of execution and may be extended to 25 years.

The action would further the Refuge Water Supply Program goals and objectives by improving refuge water availability south of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. The document is available at: https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=32501.
