Reclamation releases environmental document for the Tulare Irrigation District Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System Modernization Project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation proposes to provide $73,150 to the Tulare Irrigation District. The funding will be used to upgrade the District’s SCADA interface software from an outdated interface platform to a modern system.

The project will enhance real-time visualization of the district distribution system, provide alarms in the event of emergencies, provide automated controls to facilitate constant flow, and allow for real-time data to inform better water management decisions.
