WASHINGTON - The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking comments on the updated evaluation criteria associated with the WaterSMART Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse Program.

Through the Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse Program, Reclamation provides financial assistance to local water agencies for the planning, design and construction of water reclamation and reuse projects.

These evaluation criteria will be used in the fiscal year 2018 Title XVI funding opportunity announcement which will be open to both congressionally authorized Title XVI projects and Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act Title XVI projects. Several changes to the criteria used in the 2017 Title XVI WIIN Act funding opportunity are being proposed for the FY 2018 announcement.
