Reclamation waives day use fees at New Melones Lake for all visitors on Veterans Day Weekend

SONORA, Calif. – On Veterans Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11-12, 2017, the Bureau of Reclamation’s Mid-Pacific Region, Central California Area Office, will waive day use fees at New Melones Lake for all visitors in honor of the men and women of the U.S. military who have given so much for our country.

While visiting the recreation areas free of charge, enjoy a hike or a bicycle ride along one of the lake’s many trails. Remember to dress accordingly for the weather and bring water for a safe and enjoyable outdoor excursion.
