Following a 45-minute program, visitors can tour the ARWEC on their own or enjoy the garden. Bring a snack and enjoy the shady picnic tables and watch the birds in the garden.

Wednesday Evening Lecture Series - This informative lecture series at 7 p.m. Wednesdays is fun for the whole family. A variety of local area guest speakers from environmental, historical, landscape, and gardening groups will be featured on a weekly basis. Participants attending 5 evening lectures out of the 11 in the series will receive a special prize.

Video Views - Enjoy a cup of coffee and an interesting video on various topics Thursdays at 10 a.m. After the video, share your view in a lively conversation, then take a stroll in the garden or through the exhibits in the ARWEC.

The ARWEC is open to the public Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The beautiful garden features drought-tolerant plants, unique features related to Folsom Dam, and interactive exhibits and information on water conservation in your home are offered.
