Final documents on recycled water purchase agreement for San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has completed an analysis of purchasing up to 6,000 acre-feet of recycled water for the East Bear Creek Unit of the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex, under the authorization of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act.

Reclamation has prepared a final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact which detail Reclamation’s proposed action to enter into a one year agreement with Santa Rita Water, LLC for the purchase of tertiary treated recycled water beginning fall of 2017.

The final EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=29121.
