Reclamation seeks comment on recycled water purchase agreement for San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review a draft Environmental Assessment analyzing the impacts of purchasing up to 6,000 acre-feet of tertiary treated recycled water for the East Bear Creek Unit of the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex.

Reclamation proposes entering into a one year agreement with Santa Rita Water LCC for purchasing the water, authorized by the Central Valley Project Improvement Act.

The draft EA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and is available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=29121.
