Central Valley Project Improvement Act Annual Work Plans for Fiscal Year 2018 - Public Meeting and Open House

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will hold a public meeting and open house to present the Central Valley Project Improvement Act Annual Work Plans for Fiscal Year 2018. A 30-day comment period will open beginning Sept. 7, 2017. The CVPIA mandates changes in management of the Central Valley Project, particularly for the protection, restoration and enhancement of fish and wildlife.

The event will be held:

Sacramento
Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017
9 a.m. to noon

The public meeting and open house will include an overview of CVPIA actions and interactive poster stations. Individual program and project managers will be available to answer any additional questions.

The proposed agenda is as follows:

  • 9 a.m. Welcome and Overview of the 2018 CVP Restoration Fund
  • 9:20 a.m. Science Integration Team Overview
  • 10 a.m. Refuge and Fisheries Program Overview
  • 10:30 a.m. Open House - Poster Session
  • 11:30 a.m. Oral Comments
  • Noon Closing Comments and Adjourn
