Reclamation Releases Environmental Document on the City of Fresno School District Water Conservation Project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has prepared an Environmental Assessment for the City of Fresno School District Water Conservation Project. The EA details a proposed $300,000 WaterSMART: Water and Energy Efficiency Grant to seven schools to install high efficiency irrigation systems. Once the project is completed, the city will conserve an estimated 11 acre-feet per year with a savings of 1.33 acre-feet per acre at each school campus.
