Draft EIS Released for San Luis Drainage Feature Re-Evaluation; Public Hearings Scheduled

The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the San Luis Drainage Feature Re-evaluation for public review and comment. Reclamation has been re-evaluating options for providing drainage service to the San Luis Unit of the Central Valley Project. Drainage service alternatives in the Draft EIS are aimed at maintaining environmental quality and providing for continued agricultural production. Public hearings will be held to receive verbal and written comments on the Draft EIS:
