Reclamation Announces Negotiation Session with Langell Valley Irrigation District on Malone Dam Extraordinary Maintenance Repayment Contract

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Bureau of Reclamation and Langell Valley Irrigation District will hold a negotiation session on a proposed extraordinary maintenance repayment contract for the Malone Dam repairs. Repairs will consist of grouting of the concrete sluiceway structure and construction of a filter berm and drain on a portion of the downstream face of the earthen dam. The contract will provide financing for the required repairs. The negotiation session will be held:

Tuesday, March 21, 2:30-5 p.m. Klamath Basin Area Office 6600 Washburn Way Klamath Falls, OR 97603

This negotiation session is open to the public. Participation instructions and copies of the proposed draft contract will be provided at the session. If a second negotiation session is required, it will be held on Thursday, March 23, from 12-2:30 p.m. at the same location.
