The Bureau of Reclamation announces the availability of the Revised Record of Decision (ROD) on the Sacramento River Settlement Contractors Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Natomas Central Mutual Water Company.

The comment period for the Sacramento River Settlement Contractors Draft EIS closed on November 15, 2004. The Final EIS was made available on December 16, 2004, and the ROD was made available on March 17, 2005. Subsequent to the completion of the Final EIS, the Natomas Central Mutual Water Company requested the addition of approximately 428 acres, comprising part of the Sacramento International Airport, into the contract service area. The Revised ROD reflects the inclusion of this acreage within the contract service area.

The Revised ROD is available online at www.usbr.gov/mp/cvpia/3404c/index.html; scroll to and click on Final EISs. Also available at this website is the renewed contact for the Natomas Central Mutual Water Company, along with other renewed Sacramento River Settlement and water service contracts.

For information, to request a copy of Revised ROD, or for questions on the status of water contract-related environmental documents, please contact Mr. Robert Eckart at 91 6-978-5051, TDD 916-978-5608.
