Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for the City of Roseville’s Interim Renewal Water Service Contract

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released the final environmental documents for the execution of an Interim Renewal Contract (IRC) for Central Valley Project (CVP) water with the City of Roseville (Roseville).

The IRC will provide Roseville with an interim water service contract for a 24-month period for up to 32,000 acre-feet-per-year of CVP water. IRCs are issued under the authority of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act to provide a bridge between the expiration of the original long-term water service contracts and long-term renewal of those contracts.

The Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=27388 .
