The Bureau of Reclamation is pleased to announce the reopening of the Pleasure Cove concession area at Lake Berryessa, California. On Wednesday, June 1, 2005, Forever Resorts, the new concessionaire, has reopened the area which is now known as Pleasure Cove Marina.

Forever Resorts has operated properties in national parks, recreation areas, national forests, and other vacation destinations since 1981. The company has significant experience in lodging, marinas, food service, houseboat manufacturing and rentals, and retail operations. Committed to protecting human health and the environment, Forever Resorts was the first multi-site marina, hospitality, and lodging operator in the United States to earn the International Organization for Standards 14001 certification for all its domestic operations. Additional information on Pleasure Cove Marina's new concessionaire is available at www.ForeverResorts.com.

The resort had been closed since March 28, 2005, when Reclamation terminated the previous concessionaire's Government contract for their failure to meet specific contract requirements.
