Reclamation Schedules Public Meeting for Central Valley Project Water and Power Customers on Ability to Pay

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation will hold a public meeting on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, for Central Valley Project (CVP) water and power customers. At the meeting, the Mid-Pacific Region’s Ratesetting Division will give a presentation regarding ability to pay (ATP) studies which are performed to determine a water district’s ability to pay for applicable CVP water costs. The purpose of the presentation is to describe the process Reclamation follows to determine a water district’s ability to pay and to address questions from both water and power customers.
