Bureau of Reclamation Releases Finding of No Significant Impact for the Final Environmental Assessment for Toquerville Secondary Water System Smart Meter Installation Project

Boulder City, Nev. — The Bureau of Reclamation today released a Finding of No Significant Impact for the final Environmental Assessment for the Toquerville Secondary Water System Smart Meter Installation Project. The EA details Reclamation’s grant of funds to the Washington County Water Conservancy District through WaterSMART Water and Energy Efficiency Grant Funding. The WCWCD will use the funding to install Advance Metering Infrastructure, also known as Smart Meters, for the secondary water system in Toquerville, Utah.

The FONSI and final EA were prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available on the Reclamation internet site at: https://www.usbr.gov/lc/region/g2000/envdocs.html by clicking on the link “Toquerville Secondary Water System Smart Meter Installation Project”.
