Reclamation Releases Draft Environmental Documents for the Proposed Contra Costa Water District Shortcut Pipeline Improvements Project

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review the Draft Environmental Assessment and Draft Finding of No Significant Impact for the Contra Costa Water District Shortcut Pipeline Improvements Project. Under the Proposed Action, a variety of improvements would be made to the Shortcut Pipeline and the immediately surrounding area in order to simplify operations and maintenance.

The Draft EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=27429. If you encounter problems accessing the document, please call 916-978-5100 or email mppublicaffairs@usbr.gov.
