Exhibit Contract Awarded at Grand Coulee Dam

A contract to replace the exhibits in Grand Coulee Dam's Visitor Arrival Center has been awarded to Formations, Inc., of Portland, Oregon, according to the Bureau of Reclamation.

The $825,000 contract will be for designing, fabricating and installing a new exhibit system for Reclamation at Grand Coulee. The design and fabrication will take place over the winter with installation scheduled for the spring of 2006.

About 400,000 people visit Grand Coulee Dam annually and the exhibits will provide information on the dam and its purposes as well as local history and the functions of the Bureau of Reclamation.
