As a result of recent weather conditions in Northern California and in the San Joaquin River Basin, the Central Valley Project water allocation for agricultural contractors South of the Delta (including the Cross Valley Canal contractors) has been increased from 75-percent to 85-percent for the 90-percent probability of exceedence forecast. The forecasted water-year-type classification for the San Joaquin Valley remains "wet" and the water-year-type for the Sacramento Valley remains "below normal". The revised CVP water supply allocation is summarized in the table below. The 90-percent exceedance forecast allocation for the CVP East Side Division contractors (Stanislaus River) has also increased from 38,000 acre-feet to 43,000 acre-feet.
