Folsom South Canal Recreation Trail Partially Closed on June 5 for Folsom International Triathlon

FOLSOM, Calif. – On Sunday, June 5, 2016, the Bureau of Reclamation will close 4.4 miles of the Folsom South Canal Recreation Trail from Sunrise Boulevard to Tributary Crossing Road for the Folsom International Triathlon.

Signage will be placed at least seven days prior to the event in order to notify the public of the closed canal trail. The closure will occur on June 5, 2016, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Following 12 p.m., the canal trail will be re-opened to the public. Signs, cones and traffic barriers will be removed by volunteers from the Folsom International Triathlon staff.
