CVP Water Allocation Increases for Contractors South of the Delta

As a result of recent weather conditions in the San Joaquin River Basin, the Central Valley Project water allocation for agricultural contractors South of the Delta has been increased from 70-percent to 75-percent for the 90-percent probability of exceedence forecast. Water allocation for South of Delta municipal and industrial contractors has also been increased from 95-percent to 100-percent. The forecasted water-year-type classification for the San Joaquin Valley remains "wet." The revised CVP water supply allocation is summarized in the table below. Other than South of Delta, all other CVP allocations remain unchanged from the April 15, 2005 , announcement.
