Reclamation Releases a Final Environmental Assessment for Piping the Zanni Lateral of the Crawford Clipper Ditch

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Finding of No Significant Impact and final environmental assessment on the Zanni Lateral of the Crawford Clipper Ditch located in Delta County, Colorado.

The project will replace approximately 1.7 miles of open irrigation ditch with buried water pipeline. The purpose of the project is to improve the efficiency of water delivery to canal users and reduce salinity loading in the Colorado River Basin.
