Reclamation to Hold C Flume Replacement Project Informational Meetings

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Bureau of Reclamation will hold two informational meetings to explain and discuss the proposed C Flume Replacement Project. Each of the informal open house meetings will present the same information. The public is welcome to attend either or both meetings.

The meetings will be held:

Tuesday, March 1, 2-5 p.m.

Klamath Ranger District Building

Klamath Falls, OR 97601

Thursday, March 3, 2-5 p.m.

Merrill City Hall

301 E 2nd St.

Merrill, OR 97633

Reclamation will answer questions about the history of the C Flume; engineering and plans for a replacement of the historic facility; the potential loan contract; other options, including pumping or no action; and environmental compliance.

The Klamath Irrigation District members will vote March 8 on the potential loan contract. These meetings will provide the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and prepare to make an informed vote on the potential loan contract for the C Flume Replacement Project. Copies of the proposed contract and additional informational handouts will be available at the meeting.
