The Socorro Field Division has begun work on the Levee Set Back Project between River Miles 114 -113 south of San Acacia to the Lemitar bridge.

Public travel along the low flow conveyance channel roads and adjacent berms between San Acacia and Escondida will be restricted throughout the daylight hours Monday through Friday due to heavy equipment and truck traffic.

This project will be underway for the next 12 months. If public travel through this area is necessary, please use the levee road. If you have questions, please contact the Bureau of Reclamation at (505) 835-1202.
