Central Valley Project Improvement Act Annual Work Plans for Fiscal Year 2016 - Public Meeting and Open House

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will hold a public meeting to present and solicit comments on the Central Valley Project Improvement Act Annual Work Plans for Fiscal Year 2016. The CVPIA mandates changes in management of the Central Valley Project, particularly for the protection, restoration and enhancement of fish and wildlife. The event will be held:

The public meeting and open house will include an overview of CVPIA actions, an interactive poster session for discussions with the individual program and project managers and oral comments from the public. The proposed agenda is as follows:

  • 9:00 a.m. Welcome and Overview of the 2016 CVP Restoration Fund
  • · 9:15 a.m. Overview of the Habitat Restoration Program
  • · 9:30 a.m. Overview of Fisheries Actions
  • · 9:45 a.m. Overview of the Refuge Water Supply Program
  • · 10:00 a.m. Open House - Poster Session
  • · 11:30 a.m. Oral Comments
  • · 12:00 p.m. Closing Comments and Adjourn
